For the 30th anniversary of their sponsorship of the Boston Marathon, we helped adidas turn the entire 26.2 mile course into a massive creation engine, fueled by data from each of the 30,000 runners.
Personalized Race Video
We captured footage and race data of every throughout the marathon, using their RFID-enabled bibs at each checkpoint. Then, each runner’s personalized footage was then stitched together along with their running stats and times. In the end, every finisher received their own video to share on Instagram – all 30,000 of them.
