Inspiring progress for a new generation of Americans
In 1940, Woody Guthrie penned the classic American anthem This Land Is Your Land.
In 2017, we worked with Chicano Batman to bring a new voice to those same powerful lyrics on behalf of Johnnie Walker and the Keep Walking, America campaign – celebrating new stories of progress for today’s Americans.
We created an original track that was released on iTunes and Spotify, and the music video debuted on the eve of the 2017 Presidential Inauguration, inspiring hope and unity at time when America needed to hear it.
The Results
The launch created a massive response, with 1.5 billion earned impressions in the first week.
Jane Walker continues to make progress of her own in popular culture, step by step and year after year.
Diageo continues to release limited edition Jane Walker products on an annual basis.
